The sheath system is
also designed so the
MOLLE back plate can be
removed and the Nylon
sheath carried via a
boot clip (included) or
Tek-Lok. The system also
works as a survival
knife sheath by allowing
the user to securely
store a considerable
length of paracord by
wrapping around the
sheath and through the
lashing holes.
Custom Fitting The
Sheath Tension:
If the sheath fits too
tightly against your
knife, move the top two
screws (that hold the
molded sheath to to
MOLLE back) to the extra
set of holes below the
top set. You can then
heat the top part of the
sheath with a hair dryer
and spread it apart to
loosen the friction fit.
In many cases simply
moving the screws and
spreading without a hair
dryer will allow enough
tension release for a
looser fit. |
