The United States Taekwon-do center, headed by 7th degree Master Instructor Mario F. Cancelliere, was founded in October 18th of 1983 with the sole purpose of promoting and furthering Taekwon-do in the Philadelphia area. Today, U.S.T.C. Do-Jangs may be found throughout the Philadelphia and surrounding areas.

The purpose of this video is to serve a reference guide for beginners as well as advanced students. It is through this training tool that all students will be able to demonstrate the beauty, power, and grace that is characteristic of Taekwon-do.

The late founder of Taekwon-do, Gen. Choi Hong Hi created 24 patterns. Renowned U.S. National and World Champion, Sa bum Marcello F. Cancelliere (6th degree black belt) performs the first 9 patterns of Taekwon-do. Novice and advanced students alike will be able to view these patterns from 3 different angles.
