28.5" Katana hand-forged from 1060 spring steel, mono-tempered and machine polished with a hand-burnished Mune. Building upon the very successful first generation Musha 1060 A-Spec Katana, the G.2 1060 has double-pin construction and is also available in the new Tameshigiri geometry, making a previously resilient blade hold up better to the wear and tear of cutting. The G.2 1060 is fitted in a black gloss Saya, with ox-horn fittings. The 11" Tsuka is wrapped in black cotton Ito over genuine ray-skin panels. The Buddhist sword Menuki are matched with a classic Musashi
double-ring theme to
give the blade an
elegant simplicity.
