These are made from rare rattan trees which display beautiful closed nodes. These escrima sticks are not designed for practice as much as it is designed for show and actual fighting. Because they have good weight and are solid as steel, they will probably last forever!
Not designed for practice because they are too hard and heavy. Although weighing at approx 14oz (.875pounds) They will build up your wrist, hand and arm strength quickly!
We recommend the plain or fireburned Doce Pares escrima sticks for everyday practice and sparring.

Escrima sticks are made from a type of vine in the Philippines, which can be fire hardened for durability. Due to the uniqueness of the sticks and each sticks' individual properties, sometimes abnormalities like small cracks and chips can occur.
Please note that this is normal in the creation process. Sticks may or may not be exact matches due to the fire burning process, and may differ slightly in design and sometimes length.
