Men, youth and peewees are encouraged to wear a protective cup. Whether they be hard or soft, protection should be kept in mind when playing contact or non-contact sports. A hard cup is recommended for more contact oriented sports such as football, MMA, Boxing, hockey and baseball.
In independent laboratory testing, the cage cup out-performed the traditional hard cup by almost 17%. The new cage cup offers better protection and it's more comfortable than the traditional hard groin cup.
